Experiencing History
Located in Burgundy, France, Chateau de Varennes has belonged to the Truchis de Varennes family for over 400 years. Transformed into a luxury resort, the XVIIIth century Chateau is now a place that can be experienced by all.
Throughout his childhood, Aymeric de Truchis de Varennes spent many summers at the Chateau de Varennes with his family. Upon inheriting the estate he commissioned French-Lebanese architect, Fabrice Bejjaniin, to transform the property and realise a vision of luxury. Over two years, the castle was renovated in order to create a harmony between the historic architecture and contemporary design.
The renovation references the family history of the Chateau, still maintaining many of the orinal décor and furnishing. Louis XV chairs and an authentic Murano glass chandelier are family treasures that can be found within the music lounge.
By combining the charm of a private historic mansion with all the amenities, the Chateau de Varennes has become one of the most exclusive estates to hire in France.
