Pop, techno hip-hop or classical – we are all different in our musical tastes. Benetton’s AW13 product campaign celebrates diversity and focuses on how the love for music is one passion that unites all people, regardless of their background.
The new campaign shot by fashion photographer Mikael Jansson, titled ‘good vibrations’, features six young talents from music and fashion backgrounds including Sky Ferreira, singer and songwriter; Theophilus London, rapper; Lily McMenamy, model; Chloe Norgaard,DJ; Soo Joo Park, model; and Louis Simonon, model and son Paul Simonon, base guitarist for The Clash.
“This is a campaign that unites different cultures and experiences in a melting pot of musical genres. Just like colour, music is a way to express yourself, to communicate your personal feelings, and above all, it is a universal language that everyone understands,” said Benetton Group’s Chairman, Alessandro Benetton.
The campaign will launch in August and will appear in all major international media.
