devNgosha
From devNgosha’s small canvas artworks and posters to large-scale murals, their work presents a consistent vibrancy. fluoro spoke with the Los Angeles-based art duo about their shared passion for creativity.
Long-time friends Devin Liston and Gosha Levochkin formed devNgosha after collaborating on a number of artistic projects around Los Angeles. Their differences and approach to art saw the collaboration create a unique style. Two years on, the partnership remains.
A love for creativity drives the work of devNgosha as they share the same passion for making interesting pieces. Entwining meaning into their pieces, their work touches on the spiritual and psychological relationships that people have with themselves and the world. They use a range of materials, including acrylic, watercolour, oils and spray paint.
devNgosha will continue to develop their style while working on a range of indoor and outdoor installations. The next 12 months will see the duo take part in multiple exhibitions across Los Angeles including a split show at Soze Gallery in September 2014, followed by a solo exhibition at Merry Karnowsky Gallery in March 2015.
