Diggs Duke: The Upper Hand and Other Grand Illusions
Washington-based musician Diggs Duke (Jonathan Meacham) is set to release a new EP titled The Upper Hand and Other Grand Illusions.
Over the past year Duke has built a name for himself and his unique style of music. The vocalist and composer has consistently presented tracks that merge modern jazz and electronica.
The EP comprises of six tracks, which together tell an intimate story of a relationship. Each track on the release documents the different stages of the relationship and the notion of getting to know another. Duke has collaborated with a selection with other artists on production, vocals and instrumentals, with The Pinnacle (of Class and Taste) the only song created solely by the artist.
The Upper Hand and Other Grand Illusions will be released on Saturday 21 June 2014 via Brownswood Recordings.
