Os Gêmeos: Ópera da Lua
Os Gêmeos are exhibiting a selection of their work in their vibrant home city of São Paulo, Brazil.
Titled, Ópera da Lua (Opera of the Moon), the exhibition brings together over 30 paintings and three sculptures from the the identical twin brothers who that make up Os Gêmeos. A three-dimensional video installation and a music installation will capture the colour and energy of the Brazilian artists’ work, as part of the exhibition.
Os Gêmeos have not had a major exhibition in Sao Paulo in four years. This current exhibition includes the largest sculpture that the two artists have created in their career so far. The exhibition evokes the energy of the duo’s works, with artworks covering the gallery walls from floor to ceiling.
Ópera da Lua is on display at Galeria Fortes Vilaca until Sunday 17 August 2014.
