Haute Couture AW14/15
History, elegance and timelessness. fluoro once again looks to Paris as Haute Couture returns to the French capital for the AW14/15 season.
Haute Couture garments carry with them a certain allure, found within the care with which they are created. The hand-constructed garments retain a human touch in an age of fast fashion and technical innovation. The care and detail embedded within the creation of the garments highlights the same level of attention that they are intended to be worn with.
During the AW14/15 season, Marco Zanini will present his second collection as Creative Director of Schiaparelli. As he brings life to the long dormant brand, he has to date also maintained an awareness of the history of the House. The second collection for Schiaparelli since the 1950s will highlight how Zanini will develop the creative vision of Elsa Schiaparelli into new and progressive generation.
Paris Fashion Week Haute Couture AW 14/15 opens today. It will conclude on Friday 11 July 2014. fluoro will provide coverage of the week as we look to the interaction between history and innovation.
