New Nike Breathe Collection Launches
A burst of energy, vibrancy, and a nod to the summer months, Nike has today launched the new Nike Breathe Collection.
The Breathe Collection captures the colours and lifestyle evoked by an urban summer. Composed of a series of footwear, each permits the wearer to adopt an on-the-go lifestyle. The wearer is stylishly able to move from beach to city with ease.
Vibrant colourways representative of the colours of Brazil influenced the Collection and are applied to three iconic Nike styles: the Air Max Lunar1, the Nike Air Max 1 and the Roshe Run. The three styles have been deconstructed to their core, holding the aesthetic they are known for, but with new technology and innovation applied. The footwear collection have been altered to become light and breathable, to accommodate for warm weather. The Air Max Lunar1 is defined by its flexibility and cushioning, has been infused with Lunarlon foam technology for this Collection. The foam responds to the wearer and adding comfort and support. The Air Max 1 is also embedded with Lunarlon foam technology and is lighter than previous models. The Roshe Run, which remains a popular street style choice, has been designed in bright new colourways. The men’s Roshe Run styles hold bright outsoles with neutral shades on the upper, while the women’s styles adopt the opposite and have a white outsoles and a bold upper.
In celebration, fluoro has teamed up with Nike to help curate this new summer footwear collection with an exclusive image series launching later this month. The series is derived from the influences of the bright strong, bold colours of Brazil. Conceptualised by full-service agency HM. for fluoro, the series captures the essence of the urban world and will be released on Friday 24 October 2014. Against a vibrant urban scene, the footwear takes centre stage. The images capture the Nike ethos of unleashing the athlete in everybody with Matildas star Kyah Simon appearing alongside local talent. Together they represent the strength and energy of the Collection.
The Collection will be available in Nike stores, selected Nike retailers and online (www.nikestore.com.au) from Saturday 1 November 2014.
