Rado: New HyperChrome Colour Collection
Luxury Swiss watch manufacturer Rado presents a new chocolate brown colour across three of its high-tech, ceramic HyperChrome pieces.
Known for its exceptional Swiss quality, award-wining design and unmatched mastery of materials, Rado produces high-tech ceramic timepieces that are valued not only for their scratch resistance but also for their elegance and comfort. Continuous research has allowed Rado to produce high-tech ceramic in a range of colours over the years. The original black models where first followed by elegant white, after which Rado became the first to use plasma, a high-tech ceramic whose surface resembles the luminous look of a steely metal.
Now they have introduced a new colour to its collections, the signature colour of Swiss chocolate masters who have made Switzerland known as a chocolate heaven. As the light changes throughout the day, the nuanced high-tech surfaces evoke the full range of the masters’ arts from the darkest chocolates to the sweet lighter shades. The rich depth of colour is further enhances by the sensual pleasure of touch as the ceramic surface adapts to the warmth of the wearer’s body.
Three models have been selected to convey the new ceramic surface. The first is the Limited Edition Rado HyperChrome Automatic Diamonds, which has been embellished with a rose gold detail, studded with 56 Top Wesselton diamonds to complement the chocolate brown shade. Engraved on the back of the watch is the limited edition number XXX/600.
The second piece to carry the new colour, is the Limited Edition Rado HyperChrome Automatic Chronograph Tachymeter. In this model, Rado’s designers have added a polished, rich brown bezel engraved with a tachometric scale and filled with white Super-Luminova to contrast the matte brown ceramic of the watch. Rose gold details adorn the timepiece further enhancing its exclusive finish. The watch carries the engraving ‘Limited Edition No. XXX/999’ on its back.
The third model in the new colour collection is the Rado HyperChrome Automatic, made with a polished, rich brown monobloc ceramic case with rose gold details. The brown dial with rose gold coloured hands, black veneer and luminous highlighting is framed by a brown flange and enhanced by a curved sapphire crystal with antireflective coating on both sides.
