New York Fashion Week SS14
The world’s eyes will soon turn to New York, as Mercedes Benz Fashion Week kicks off the SS14 fashion season.
Top international designers and brands are set to take the stage to debut their vision for what’s next in fashion.
Known for his use of innovative materials and deconstructed cuts, Australian designer Dion Lee will make his debut appearance at the event. Typically presenting both women’s and menswear collections at the event, 2013 will see Tommy Hilfiger only show their womenswear collection, choosing to launch their menswear ranch predominantly through campaigns and marketing initiatives.
In response to the growing role of digital platforms all collections will be live streamed, helping to increase ways that fans can engage beyond the runway. “More than ever, style savvy trendsetters across the globe are anxiously awaiting the newest collections in real time,” said Jarrad Clark, Global Creative Director, IMG Fashion Events and Properties.
