Pharrell Williams: G I R L
An advocate for positivity, Pharrell Williams’ latest venture sees him curate an exhibition at Galerie Perrotin, Paris that celebrates female empowerment.
The exhibition, titled G I R L will bring together over 40 artworks as a tribute to femininity seen through the vision of the likes of Marina Abramovic, Sophie Calle, Terry Richardson, Ryan McGinley, Takashi Murakami, Mickalene Thomas and Cindy Sherman. The exhibition references William’s recent album of the same title.
G I R L will be on display from Tuesday 27 May – Wednesday 25 June at Galerie Perrotin’s new space, the Salle de Bal. The space was formerly a ballroom at the Hôtel du Grand Veneur, a 17th century Hôtel Particulier in the Marais area in Paris.
