Milan Fashion Week: DSquared2
DSquared2 revealed a bold and bright SS14 collection on day one of Milan Fashion Week, transforming the runway into a tropical haven.
The SS14 collection celebrated colour and the womanly hour-glass figure, with vibrant shades and cuts pinched at the waistline. While the silhouettes evoked swimwear of the 1950s, the bold confidence with which they were worn shed any association with the modesty of the era.
Vibrant patterns and shades were applied to jumpsuits and swimwear, with tropical themed patterns seen throughout. The looks were completed with raffia hats, gold jewellery and coral lipstick. A runway that was lightly covered in sand enhanced the theme.
