Hermès: La Maison des Carrés
Hermès has launched an innovative way to discover their iconic collection of scarves that utilises digital technology.
Since 1937 Hermès has been creating the delicate silk scarves, which have since become a part of the Hermès history. Today, the house creates around 20 new scarf designs each year and collaborates with designers and artists on the intricate designs.
Their latest venture has seen the luxury house launch La Maison des Carrés for Hermès. An illustrated website has been used to create a digital space that evokes a dreamlike physical store. The user is able to explore a diverse array of rooms that include a treasure chamber and saloon. In total, the space houses over 600 versions of Hermès scarves.
The website was illustrated by Pierre Marie, who brought the essence of the house to life.
