Yujun Ye: El Sueño de Los Angeles
Yujun Ye captures the sleepwalking, dream like feel of the City of Angels in his new exhibition El Sueño de Los Angeles.
The solo exhibition includes the combination of video/light installations and graffiti, inside a fantasy-like fluorescent atmosphere, which was conceived and created once Ye returned to Taipei after a one-month stay in Los Angeles.
During her time in Los Angeles, Ye felt that everything was so surreal and was like sleepwalking. Because of this Ye focused her exhibition on dreams, fantasy and sharing our subconscious thoughts.
The exhibition comes to a close on Friday 12 December 2014 at the 18th Street Arts Centre in Los Angeles, US.
