Reda Amalou Design
Architect and designer Reda Amalou presents his first furniture collection under his own brand, REDA AMALOU DESIGN.
Amalou, who founded AW2 in 1997, has been producing globally recognised design across architecture, interiors and furniture. His work over the years saw a natural progression into developing his own furniture collection under a new brand.
The recently launched collection mingles elegance and simplicity with sobriety. Drawing inspiration from the modern 20th century world of architecture the pieces and furniture are designed with a unique formal identity and a solid sense of structure. Each object delineates its own space with pure and expressive lines in a graceful contemporary design.
The collection features Y Table, Lanka Chair, Lanka ArmChair, Season Armchair, Library 1, Egg Table, This is Not A Vase, Jo Jack and Bill Vase, Lines Ashtray, and Tripod Plates. Materials used for the collection range from bronze, steel, glass, mahogany and porcelain to leather and walnut with deep rich textures.
Beside running AW2 and launching the new furniture collection under his own brand, Amalou is involved in projects with industrial manufacturers and has designed products for Bacccarat. The architect/designer also contributes to Toulemonde Bochart rug collections on a regular basis and is preparing projects for Veronese and Bagues.
