NYCxDESIGN: 2015
The third edition of NYCxDESIGN is set to open bringing together a lively design community.
Featuring more than 300 events focusing on fashion, furniture, architecture, graphic design, technology, urban design, landscape and much more, NYCxDESIGN 2015 forms one of the New York City’s most important design events. Over 12 days the event will celebrate design with a program that showcases the latest advancements in the five elements design, commerce, culture, education and entertainment in terms of opportunities, emerging practices and appreciation of design.

BKLYN DESIGNS who are previous participants of NYCxDESIGN, will be showcasing a combination of design, architecture and art. Established in 2003 by the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, BKLYN DESIGNS was one of the first design fairs to bring attention to the creative economy in Brooklyn. It functions as an incubator for emerging designers and forms a platform for established brands that produces creative products in furniture, lighting, tableware, art, textiles and jewellery. BKLYN DESIGNS will take place from Friday 8 May – Sunday 10 May 2015 at the Brooklyn EXPO Center.
Another notable fair is Collective Design Fair. Celebrating innovative design and thinking from the beginning of the 20th century until today, the fair includes New York’s most inspirational voices as well as established and emerging galleries from cities across the world. The fair will take place from Wednesday 13 May – Sunday 17 May 2015 at Skylight Clarkson Square in Manhattan.
Bringing to NYCxDesign a range of large-scale and multi-disciplinary design installations, is WantedDesign Brooklyn. Also a previous participant in NYCxDESIGN, WantedDesign Brooklyn has become one of the must visit design destinations. It will be taking place from Saturday 9 May – Tuesday 19 May 2015 at Industry City, Sunset Park.
NYCxDESIGN kicks off on Friday 8 May 2015 and will close on Tuesday 19 May 2015.
