adidas Originals: #ImaginedBy
adidas Originals presents #ImaginedBy, an ongoing series of activations inspired by the adidas Originals ZX Flux sneaker. The new initiative will see a series of projects #ImaginedBy friends, partners and fans of adidas Originals, with long-time collaborator Big Sean, being the first creator to bring the series to life.
#ImaginedBy repositions the ZX Flux sneaker as more than just a shoe, but a platform for personal ideation and creative expression. As such, the #ImaginedBy concept sheds light on the positive influence that creativity can bring about in people’s lives by spreading the power of imagination and encouraging people, and especially the youth, to fully explore their talents.
Leading the activation of the #ImaginedBy message, The Sean Anderson Studio of Infinite Possibilities was unveiled at Cass Tech High School in Detroit, Michigan. Created in collaboration between Big Sean, The Sean Anderson Foundation and adidas Originals, the studio presents a state of the art sound and recording studio where students can immerse in musical experimentation and learn about production and recording skills.
The studio was donated to the school as a means to empower the youth of Detroit and celebrate their talent by giving them a platform for growth. Further, it functions as a reminder for the students that they can do well and succeed despite their circumstances. Upcoming developments of the studio include a dedicated SoundCloud page where the students’ creations developed inside the space can be uploaded, shared and enjoyed by the world.
To spread the message of imagination, adidas Originals have released a short film documenting the story behind The Sean Anderson Studio of Infinite Possibilities and its unveiling to the Cass Tech community. The film is titled One Man Can Change Detroit #ImaginedBy Big Sean and can be viewed opposite.
