Courtney Barnett: Headline Theatre Tour
Celebrating a monumental year, Australian singer and guitarist Courtney Barnett announces a headline theatre tour in Australia.
Barnett caught our attention back in 2013 with the release of two EPs and a series of well-received performances at the CMJ Music Marathon. Her witty, rambling lyrics and deadpan singing style quickly attracted the praises of people from around the world.
This year saw Barnett release her debut LP, Sometimes I Sit and Think, And Sometimes I Just Sit, hitting a number 10 on the US Billboard album sales charts and a number four on the ARIA charts in her home country.
Spreading her refreshing sound, Barnett will be touring Australia in January 2016 with a headline theatre tour across Perth, Sydney and Melbourne. Joining her on the tour will be Australian, alternative rock band Cloud Control.
Alongside her headline shows, Barnett will be playing at the Falls Music and Arts Festival over New Years in Lorne, Marion Bay and Byron as well as at Southbound Festival 2016.
