Paris Photo Los Angeles
Paris Photo Los Angeles, the inaugural United States edition of the renowned Paris art fair, today commences its public program, ‘Sound and Vision.’
Paris Photo was created in 1996 and is dedicated solely to historical and contemporary photography, taking place annually in Paris and Los Angeles. The two locations contrast the unique cultural environments of the cities, bringing together the different trends in photography.
Curated by Douglas Fogle, ‘Sound and Vision’ focuses on featuring dialogue between artists who work in photography and moving image media, through a range of talks and side events. The program covers not only the creative practice of image making, but also elements such as photojournalism.
