Each season Clover Canyon embarks on a new tale of travel and adventure. This season the fashion label’s Resort 13 collection transports us to Cuba.
Lush tropics, rich indigenous and African heritage and Spanish colonial influences make the landscapes of Cuba a rich source of visual stimuli. Clover Canyon paints their Resort 13 collection with images of the Cuba’s nature and the beauty of tarnished baroque grandeur.
Spiraling skirts, embroidered neoprene bomber jackets and jacquard sweatpants are all adorned with digital prints and form part of a collection that screams vibrancy. Fabrics carry multiple layers of patterns; foulard motifs echo Spanish tiles that serve as a background for bouquets of bananas and roses.
Inspired by parade dancers, the collection makes references to a culture that possess a love of dance. The garments delight in movement with circle sleeves and flounced skirts and dresses designed to swirl.
