Frank Höhne: Bockumenta 1
In his first solo exhibition, Frank Höhne, showcases his intoxicating sense of humour with ‘Bockumenta 1’ in conjuction with the launching of his first monograph, ‘The Book of Bock’.
Inspired by the things that make him human, Höhne’s pieces are a reflection of his sense of humor and working style with quick, intuitive and spontaneous illustrations.
His strange humor is portrayed in his unique perspective on how to become an illustrator and keep the joy in your work alive, a visual journey which he explores through ‘The Book of Bock’ and ‘Bockumenta 1’.
The charismatic artist is quickly becoming one of Germany’s leading illustrators, with the exhibition featuring drawings, paintings, and his crocheted puppets.
‘Bockumenta 1’ is exhibiting at Gestalten Space in Berlin, Germany until Sunday 16 September 2012.
